OVERVIEW

BBA+MBA (5 years) is an Integrated MBA Programme for all eligible class XII pass-outs aspiring for a career in the field of business management. It is an innovatively designed dual degree programme that combines the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes – BBA and MBA.

On successful completion of five years, a 'MBA Integrated' degree will be awarded by Uttarakhand Technical University.

The program aims to not only enhance a student's management skills and knowledge but also create leaders who can make a radical impact through their Principles & Work style imbibed at the institute. The program grooms and moulds them as outstanding leaders through a world class academic experience.

On successful completion of five-years, students shall not only be awarded with the 5-year 'Integrated MBA' degree from UTU, but the institute also guarantees a placement of minimum Rs.5,00,000 as annual remuneration, subject to the requisite criteria being met by the student.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

This is a 5 years integrated programme wherein session starts every year from July-August. The first three years (under-graduation period) will have a semester system. It will have six semesters, with two semesters in each of the three years. The fourth and fifth year (post­graduation period) will have four semesters, with two semesters in each of the two years, in line with the existing MBA programme.

On successful completion of ve years, a 'Integrated MBA programme' degree shall be awarded by Uttarakhand Technical University.

The programme, is centered on comprehensive study of organiational management, modern business concepts and prereuisites of managerial skills. ntegrated MBA degree provides students an option to choose one major field and one minor field of specialiation from Marketing, Finance, HRM, International Business. The curriculum is interspersed with seminars, Industrial tours and industry oriented projects providing ample opportunity to interact with industry professionals.

During the tenure of the programme, students academic performance will be assessed on continuous basis and all those who meet the minimum reuirements of the programme will be promoted to the subsequent year of the study.

BUSNESS APTTUDE AND SKLL ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM:

The Business Aptitude and Skill Enhancement constitutes the package of additional value added certification programs conducted through various external/internal certifying agencies. These certification programs are integrated along with the university curriculum to imbibe the contemporary Business skills pertinent to new technology industries.

Terms of the Job Guarantee for BBA+MBA (Integrated)

Doon Business School guarantees that all students successfully completing the 5 years integrated program from the school fullling the following criteria, shall be placed in companies with minimum of annual package of Rs. 5.0 Lacs.

The minimum criteria is:

  • Minimum 70% marks at class 12.
  • Minimum 75% attendance in all semester with Minimum 60% marks.
  • Minimum 60% attendance in all career development activities.
  • The candidate should honestly sit for all job interviews suitable for his job profile.

In case the candidate is unable to find the job of minimum Rs. 5 Lacs per annum, the institute guarantees to place him/her in a suitable job for an equivalent amount or reimburse/pay the difference of the annual reimbursement received through the job till the student continues in the first job or one year which ever is earlier.

All students must have passed 10+2 examination with English as one of the subjects with a bare minimum of 50% marks (Minimum Requirement as laid down by the University). However the admission to DBS BBA program is done on the combined merit of Academic records and Interview.

Admission Process

  1. Admissions in above Under Graduate Courses is on the basis of merit of Class XII marks and personal interview.

  2. You may fill the registration form available on the website and pay Rs. 1000/- on line as the registration fees.

    Alternatively: You may download the registration form from our website www.doonbusinessschool.com and fill the same, attach a Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- drawn in favour of Doon Business School payable at Dehradun. And send the same at Doon Business School, 122 mi, Selaqui, Dehradun. On the receipt of the duly filled registration form the institute will inform the date of PI and nearest location as per the preference filled by you through email or telephonically.

  3. On the date of scheduled interview the student shall report at the venue on time, wherein briefing of the institute, rules and regulations etc shall be given to the students. The students should carry the following documents along with the following certificates in original for verification:

    • 8 passport size photographs
    • Character certificate from the last school attended
    • 10th class marks sheet & pass certificate
    • 12th class marks sheet & pass certificate
    • Two sets of photocopies of all the above documents.
    • Copies of extracurricular / sports or any other major achievement done on basis of which additional consideration is being made.

    Upon verification of the above documents, the candidates shall appear for their Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

  4. If any of the above mentioned documents are not available, then the admission given shall be provisional basis unless submitted. The required documents will have to be submitted latest by 30th October 2017.

  5. The merit list is drawn on the basis of weightage as under Class 12 %- 50%
    Personal Interview - 50%

    A merit list will be drawn on the basis of above. Those shortlisted ,an offer / short listing letter will be sent to them.
  6. On Receipt of the above letter students need to confirm their admission with in 15 days of receiving the communication and deposit the course admission fees which is Rs. 10000/-

    The fees can be deposited online through our website or through bank draft in favour of Doon Business School. On receipt of the above fees within the stipulated time,the student will be issued the confirmed admission letter clearly stating if he / she has been approved for the value addition programs or not.
  7. Students confirmed for admission shall have to deposit the balance fees for the first year within next 30 days of confirmation of admission.

    Those students wishing to avail a bank loan and requiring extra time shall make a request within 3 weeks of confirmation of admission. Additional time to deposit the fee for 30 days or as deemed fit by the Director through a bank loan will be granted only on an additional payment of Rs. 10000/- with an undertaking that in case the fees is not deposited till the due date, the seat may be allotted to another candidate.

    In case of sanction of higher loan amounts, the balance will be refunded to the students.
