B.Sc. (Agriculture) is a 4 year full time undergraduate programme to get the students acquainted with various facets of agriculture and its related specializations. The syllabus is very exhaustive in tune with the industrial as well as Govt. jobs requirements, Agro - Industry Sectors like food processing, grain and seed processing, dairy processing, feed manufacturing and service sectors like agricultural consultants, agricultural statisticians, agriculture officers in banks and foreign agricultural service etc. There are several Government agencies at centre, state and district levels, which appoint agriculture graduates.

GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION IN B.Sc. (Ag) & FORESTRY


Following criteria is followed for admission in B.Sc. (Ag) and Forestry and preparation of merit list:
90% & above

Direct admission (Post Interview) ,50% Scholarship in Tuition Fee,

Scholarship in Subsequent years subject to:

70% Marks and 75 % attendance in all semesters.

25% Scholarship in Tuition Fee, subject to obtaining 60% marks and 75% attendance in all semesters

75%  & above

Direct admission (Post Interview), 25% Scholarship in Tuition Fee,

Scholarship in Subsequent years subject to:

60% marks and 75% attendance in all semesters.

60% & above

12th Marks + (25% of marks obtained in APMCET, TSEA MCET, KEAM, ICAR – AIEEA, KCET on 100 marks scale / DBS  Test)

Below 60%

Allowed in cases where candidate has attached / claimed seat on extracurricular credentials+ 12th Marks + DBS Test + Interview
