Workshop on Legal Literacy in Collaboration with FICCI FLO Uttarakhand

In a commendable collaboration between Doon Business School and FICCI FLO Uttarakhand, a certified workshop on legal literacy was conducted on February 15, 2024. The event aimed to empower corporate professionals and address human rights challenges, providing participants with invaluable insights into the legal landscape. Advocate Trishla Malik, a distinguished corporate lawyer and member of the Supreme Court Bar Association, served as the workshop facilitator, drawing from her extensive expertise and experience as Co-founder and MD of Amicus Legal Firm and Consultancy LLP. Reflecting on the significance of legal literacy, Advocate Trishla Malik emphasized its role as a cornerstone of empowerment, enabling individuals to navigate complexities and uphold their rights in diverse contexts.
Dr. Dharamveer Singh, Director of Doon Business School, expressed gratitude to Dr. Anuradha Malla for spearheading this initiative. Dr. Singh highlighted the importance of such workshops in enhancing students' understanding of human rights issues and fostering a culture of informed citizenship. The workshop, attended by more than 120 postgraduate students and members of FLO Uttarakhand, proved to be both educational and engaging.
