The DBS Group comprises of AICTE approved and Central/State University affiliated institutions conducting PGDM (Global), PGDM (SAP),MBA, MBA (IB),MBA (5 Year Integrated), BBA, BCA, B.Com, BA-Hons. (Journalism and Mass Comm) and MA (Mass Comm), B.Sc (Agriculture), B.Sc. (Horticulture) and B.Sc.(Forestry) programs.

The Doon Business School is consistently rated as the Top Management and Commerce college in Uttarakhand and amongst Top 50 colleges of India. The campus is located in the green industrial township of Selaqui in Dehradun. The current student strength is about 1500 out of which about 600 students reside in, on-campus hostels. The 14 acre campus houses sporting facilities like Football play ground, Basket Ball, Volley Ball, Table tennis, Indoor Badminton, Billiards, Gymnasium and three cafeterias.

Doon Business School credits itself for initiating and integrating multiple industry required value added certification courses with regular Degree/PGDM programs. Dean Academics:

A Professor in Management who should have either studied or taught in an International institute of repute or in top 30 Institutes of India with adequate corporate experience. The job involves bringing in better academic rigor among students by making teaching more case oriented and experiential. At the same time evolve an environment of research publications by leading from the front by publishing in the best Journals of the world.

Dean Academics , should be able to add academic value in multifaceted management education environment with strong knowledge in new age skills like Analytics, FinTech, Digital Landscape, AI etc. to become the catalyst in achieving the objective of best in class placements for students.

Executive Director:

A business oriented person preferably from the new-age industry having exposure in education industry with minimum of 15 years of experience and at-least 5 years in leadership position.

The executive Director will be the front office of the institution for expansion in different metros and international environment in the asset light model, and for the required visibility, Accreditations, Tie-ups and the above two are the leadership position of the group and we are open for a salary between INR 25 lakhs to 50 lakhs P.A. depending upon the best fit, with or without variable components based out of performance.

Faculty Requirements

Minimum Eligibility Criteria

Assistant Professor (Management):

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and Master’s degree in Business Administration/PGDM/C.A./ICWA/M.Com with First class or equivalent and two years of professional experience after acquiring the Master’s degree/CA. Qualified NET for eligibility as Assistant Professor is essential in the areas where NET is available.

Associate Professor:

  1. Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch
  2. And

  3. At least total 6 research publications and in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved list of journals.
  4. And

  5. Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/research/industry/out of which at least 2 years shall be post Ph.D.

Professor:

  1. Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch
  2. And

  3. Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 3 years shall be a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.
  4. And

  5. At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as supervisor/Co-Supervisor till the date of eligibility of promotion.

    At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved list of journals till the date of eligibility of promotion

Finance (Qualified CA with First class in Graduation)
Candidate should possess good academic record throughout. Exposure at institutions of high repute or equivalent level in such other globally recognized Indian or foreign institutions of comparable standards. Strong Academic skills in teaching with experience in Finance/Accounting domain preferably in a B-School or Management Dept. Experience in teaching with in depth knowledge in courses such as Company Accounts, Corporate Finance, Business Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Strategic Cost Accounting, and Financial Management, Direct and Indirect Taxes; Customs Act; Central Excise Act; Service Tax; Sales Tax; VAT and Goods and Services Tax (GST); Income Tax; Wealth Tax; Gift Tax, etc.
